It was such a wonderful day for pictures the other day I thought I would do some pet portraits of my dog Ariel!  Ariel is the sweetest dog ever!  She definitely is a huge part of my life.  Ariel is a Standard Poodle that is full of energy!  She had recently been groomed by my friend Karina at Classy Canine.  Classy Canine did an amazing job grooming my dog!  They are located in East Lansing MI on Haslett Rd.

I photographed Ariel at Meridian Historical Village in Okemos MI.  The Meridian Historical Village is dog friendly and offers a great natural setting for pet portraits.  Ariel loves the park so I knew I wanted her to be photographed there.  She loves being outdoors and taking walks.  I think Ariel was a wonderful model!  Pet photography can be so much fun for the animal!  I made sure I had lots of treats for Ariel during the pet photography session!

I have known Cailyn ever since preschool!  She is an awesome friend!!!  We both grew up in Okemos MI.  Our lives have sometimes lead into different directions but we always take time to hang out when we are in the same town.  A while ago Cailyn got a Vizsla and named him Diesel!  Diesel is very intelligent and loyal!  He was wonderful for his first pet photography session in my studio which is located near Okemos MI.  His beautiful light brown coat was a great contrast to the white background!  I love the pictures with both Cailyn and Diesel in them together…their interactions are priceless!!!  Pet photography is a great way to hold onto your special friend forever!  It’s always fun when the pet is little and they come into the studio!  They don’t stay long in the puppy or kitten phase so it’s great to capture this special moment with some great pet photography!
